Our Church's Purpose:
This church shall worship God as revealed in scripture;
celebrate the sacraments of communion and baptism;
develop fellowship and unity within this church
and with the church the world over;
give loving service toward humanity, and
work toward justice, equality and peace
in our community and the world.
Hearing God
“He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Matthew 11:15
Stop and listen. What do you hear? Birds singing? People Talking? Music Playing? The Bible says that if we have ears, we should listen closely so we can hear God!
What do you think God’s voice sounds like? It might sound like someone reading the Bible to you or telling you Bibles stories at church. Maybe it sounds like your family praying. Sometimes we hear God’s voice inside of us, reminding us to be kind, to do the right thing, or just to be still. Listen closely. What is God saying to you?
Thought of the Day
Pay attention today and see if you can hear God telling you things!
Pray Today
Dear God, thank You for giving me ears to hear. Help me always listen for Your voice speaking to my heart! Amen.
